Dull cutting.

 Is Brilliant cutting with out the polishing element. Its only advantage is in the pricing. Less work. One to Two thirds the total cost of a brilliant cut panel.  In the old days it was only used on some jobs as a different design element on mirrors. Or small cuts on Venetian mirrors.

The choice of grinding wheel next, the theory is to use the biggest wheel you can then as the curves cut get tighter the wheels get ever smaller, 50mm the smallest 500mm the biggest.
